Patient & Day Patient Services

acute conditions can be treated on out patient and day patient

Therapeutic Approaches
Group
therapy and individual therapy utilizing a variety of approaches
including cognitive analytic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, person centred counselling, integrative psychotherapy,
relaxation techniques and cognitive restructuring.
Medication
may be used in conjunction with the above.
Mental
Health Act
The
majority of patients receiving in-patient treatment do so
on a voluntary (informal) basis. However the Eastbourne
Clinic is registered with East Sussex Brighton & Hove
Health Authority and the Mental Health Act Commission to
accept patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).
