Every patient has a Consultant Psychiatrist, Primary Nurse and Associate Nurse to facilitate a package of care appropriate to each individual's needs.

Out Patient & Day Patient Services

Less acute conditions can be treated on out patient and day patient basis, see our day centre for more information.

Therapeutic Approaches

Group therapy and individual therapy utilizing a variety of approaches including cognitive analytic therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy, person centred counselling, integrative psychotherapy, relaxation techniques and cognitive restructuring.

Medication may be used in conjunction with the above.

Mental Health Act

The majority of patients receiving in-patient treatment do so on a voluntary (informal) basis. However the Eastbourne Clinic is registered with East Sussex Brighton & Hove Health Authority and the Mental Health Act Commission to accept patients detained under the Mental Health Act (1983).
