Lesley Dimond (Registered Manager)

Lesley is a qualified Mental Health Nurse. After gaining invaluable experience in the NHS she moved into the independent sector and worked as a nurse therapist for the Altrincham Priory. Following re-location, Lesley joined the Eastbourne clinic in 1997. She successfully developed the clinic’s therapeutic programme and became the registered manager in 2005.

Jean Thompson (Deputy Manager)

Jean has over 20years experience in mental health nursing, in a number of settings. Over the years, Jean developed an interest in teaching and is an accomplished NVQ assessor. She commenced her employment at the Eastbourne clinic in 1998. Her current role encompasses a lead in clinical governance and responsibility for planning staff training.

Julia Ryder (Day Hospital Manager)

Julia qualified as a mental health nurse over 10 years ago and has worked in a number of settings including acute inpatient care, prison service and the independent sector. She continues to maintain the therapeutic milieu of the Eastbourne clinic and puts great emphasis on patient empowerment.

Rebecca Pollard (Therapy Coordinator)

Rebecca is a mental health nurse with a wealth of experience. After leaving the NHS, she moved into the independent sector and assisted in the creation of a highly effective Posttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD) unit at the Ticehurst house hospital. After successfully completing her training in person centred counselling she has enjoyed teaching students at adult education centres throughout east Sussex. She joined Eastbourne clinic in 2004 and has developed a special interest in our mother and infant mental health unit.
